Hello
It started with a rental quote.
I was shocked when I learned what it costs to rent tablecloths for a wedding. It was for my own.
I was living in India at the time, and the same thought kept returning: every one of these block prints comes from here. Why rent something ordinary when I could have exactly what I wanted, made by the people who have been printing this way for generations?
So that is what I did. I designed the linens for my own wedding. Then for another. That was the start of Loopy Leopard.
What we make
Not a rental catalogue.
Tablecloths, napkins, placemats, welcome bags and keepsakes — every piece made to order.
One
Designed to fit
Cut to your actual table sizes — rounds, kings, sweetheart, cocktail — and struck in a colour chosen against your palette rather than picked from a rental chart.
Two
Shipped to your venue
Sent directly to the venue or to your planner, ready to be laid. No pickup window, no return deadline, no damage waiver.
Three
Yours afterwards
A rental goes back in a van at midnight. This goes home with you — onto your own table, for years, every time you have people over.
The craft
Made by hand in Jaipur.
Every Loopy Leopard linen is block-printed by hand in Jaipur. A design is carved into teak, then pressed onto cotton one repeat at a time, one colour at a time — a tablecloth can take a printer the better part of a day.
The registration drifts a hair. The dye pools differently on each press. That is the point: the cloth ends up with a depth no screen or digital print can fake, and no two are quite identical.
It also means a block can be cut new — your motif, your colour, your scale. Working directly with the workshops, rather than through an importer, is what makes that possible at a price that still undercuts renting.
